Design & Build Quality

The DRAGBAR B5000 CE has the same shape and size as the original at 79.6mm tall, 44mm wide, and 22.6mm deep. It’s a compact vape with a shape that is attractive from the get-go, both for how it looks and how it feels in the hand.

You can easily tell the B5000 CE apart from the original B5000 by the color-scheme and finish of the shell. Whereas the original featured a matte plastic finish with a single color for each device, the B5000 CE has a shiny body with a gradient of two colors. The colors of the devices definitely support the “Cosmic Edition” name and I think that they all look really great.

The shiny finish does make these a little more slippery to hold than the original with its matte finish, but I haven’t dropped them yet. If I had to choose between the two based purely on looks, the original or the Cosmic Edition, I would go with the Cosmic Edition every time. The design of the original was great, but the shiny finish and two-tone gradient definitely brings the looks up a notch.

A design feature that I’m glad that ZOVOO didn’t change from the original is the crystal mouthpiece. It gives the mouthpiece a 3D appearance that is unique and attractive. It’s also shaped comfortably, with a nice slope that feels good on the lips.

Finally, the bottom of the device is where you’ll find the Type-C charging port, airflow intake hole, and LED indicator.

Features

The DRAGBAR B5000 Cosmic Edition is essentially the same as the original in terms of the specs. It uses the same mesh coil and comes filled with 13ml of ejuice. It also has the same size 500mAh battery which recharges with Type-C charging.

The 13ml of ejuice inside of each one and the 500mAh rechargeable battery should get you somewhere around 5000 puffs per device. Each one lasts for a few hundred puffs per charge and you’ll feel the draw getting weaker as it dies, which gives you some heads-up that you should start looking for somewhere to recharge soon.

These recharge quickly in only about 30 minutes, so downtime is minimal. However, you can’t vape on these while they recharge as they do not feature pass-thru charging.

Like most disposables, these are draw-activated and only require that you inhale on the mouthpiece in order to vape. There’s no adjustable wattage or adjustable airflow, so inhaling on the mouthpiece and recharging it when it’s dead are all that you need to worry about.

Flavors

In addition to the new design, the DRAGBAR B5000 Cosmic Edition also brings ten new flavors to the table. These flavors are completely different from the ones offered by the original. The ten new flavors are:

All of these are interesting mixes and different from the ten original B5000 flavors. Like most disposable brands flavor options, fruits are a big portion of the flavors. But there are also three drink themed flavors and I think Root Beer is particularly unique as it’s a flavor that you don’t see too often.For this review I’ll be going over five of these flavors. I’m going to describe how each of these flavors taste to me and what I think of them.

Root Beer

I’ll start with the most interesting of the bunch first. Root Beer tastes as you would expect; like root beer. It has that bite that you expect when drinking a glass of root beer, along with a carbonated feeling/sensation that I really love. Like the drink, this flavor isn’t overly sweet but has slightly bitter notes and a pleasant aftertaste that is very authentic.

Blueberry Smoothie

This flavor has a bit of an ice cream taste to it in that I get that same “ice cream aftertaste” that I don’t find all that great. The blueberry flavor is also extremely subtle and barely perceptible. If you like that dense ice cream taste then you might like this flavor, but I don’t taste the smoothie component of this flavor at all.

Strawberry Banana

You can’t really go wrong with a strawberry banana flavor and ZOVOO has done a good job with their version here. It’s not as sweet as many strawberry banana flavors that I’ve tried and I like that about this version. The light mix of the two fruits is pleasant and just sweet enough that it’s enjoyable. I can also vape on this flavor all day, so five stars all around.

Peach Mango Watermelon

There’s a decent amount of cooling here that hits you immediately on the inhale. I taste all three flavors equally, although the peach flavor lingers a little longer than the other two fruit flavors. If you’re a fan of tropical vapes then you’ll definitely like this flavor.

Raspberry Lemon

I vaped the heck out of this flavor! It’s basically a raspberry lemonade flavor and ZOVOO really nailed it. It has a natural flavor and the mix is perfectly done. Natural raspberry and lemon flavors hit you from the second you inhale and follow-through all the way until you’re done with your exhale. This is hands-down my favorite of the five flavors that I tried and I highly recommend trying this one out.

Verdict

The ZOVOO DRAGBAR B5000 CE is just as good as the original, maybe even better depending on how much you like the design and the new flavors. That’s really all that’s changed too; a new design and ten new flavor options to try out. They’re still the same great disposables with a tight mouth to lung draw, warm vapor, excellent battery life, and all-around excellent performance.

In my opinion, the two-tone gradient design and shiny shell are more attractive than the original. It just looks more attractive and I feel that the shiny shell matches with the clear mouthpiece a bit better than the matte finish on the original B5000.

Overall, the B5000 Cosmic Edition is a disposable vape that you can’t go wrong with. It’s compact, aesthetically pleasing, and the performance is great. You’ll get around 5000 puffs out of each one, so you’ll get to enjoy the device for quite a while too.
